Motorhead/City Kids

Notes

The first Motorhead single to be released since the Stiff Leaving Here/White Line Fever was withdrawn. It featured the Motorhead track on the A-side from the self titled debut album and on the B-side it had City Kids which was not included on the album. Released both on 7" and on 12", a new format at the time and this was the first rock record to be released as a 12" single. There are acetates although I have never seen one.

The single got re-issued in 1979 in various colours and also as a black or blue picture disc. It was also released in France and in 1981 a Spanish version was released but with Train Kept a Rollin as the B-side and with the same front sleeve as the album.
