White label. There are 1-sided test pressings for side 1 and 1-sided test pressings for side 2. In
Mick Stevensons Collectors Guide (2011) there are pictures of 1-sided copies with handwritten title and cat no. Those copies also
has a stamp with the date "27 MAR 1980". And there are also supposed to exist 2-sided test pressings.
A 2-sided copy sold on Ebay in October 2007 was originally said to have
been housed in a plain white paper sleeve. This copy was also said to have been obtained directly from ex
pressing plant employee. However, this copy was fake, the label was bleached and you could see traces of the original
label (see the fake test pressing section).
The Bronze EMI releases are pressed by Hayes pressing plant for EMI at Middlesex near London. A seller of test
pressings on Ebay claims that Hayes usually only pressed 12-15 white label test pressings.
