AOS was actually the only Motorhead 7" that got a Japanese release in the 80s. It is housed in a Victor record
company bag, or sometimes a JVC die cut bag, and it has a double-printed (front-back) sheet. The fron features the same picture as the AOS album.
Or almost the same I should say because if you look carefully at
the picture you see it is a slightly different photo. The clouds are different and you can actually see the faces of all three. Phil closes his
eyes! On the back of the sheet there are lyrics to AOS in English and in Japanese as well as a short biography in Japanese. Labels are standard
yellow jukebox (big centre hole) Bronze labels.
As mentioned, there are copies of the Japanese AOS that are housed in a JVC record company bag instead of the Victor bag. My impression
is that this JVC bag is more rare. If you get your hands on a copy it is of course hard to prove that the JVC bag really was there from
the beginning. There is a chance that someone simply has replaced the Victor bag with a JVC bag at some point
over the years.
