There are three versions of the Over the Top - The Rarities CD, a UK pressing and a US pressing and a Brazil pressing on Globo/Jive emerged. The included tracks are a compilation of the rare bonus tracks that was included as bonus tracks in the 1996 Essential remastered series and it was released at the same time as the 2 CD singles compilation release The Chase is Bettter Thans the Catch. The inlay contains a brief history of Motorhead by Hugh Gilmour.
