MOTORHEAD Audiobiography (2007 UK CD which draws on unique interviews with
Lemmy, Philthy Animal & Fast Eddie along with a panel of musicians and journalists who shed light on the bands
thirty-year career - also interviewed here are Wurzel [his first recorded interview since his controversial exit
from the band in 1995] and ex-Thin Lizzy guitarist Brian Robertson who played on 1983's Another Perfect Day album,
presented in a hard-back book-style packaging complete with a 72-page book with a fully illustratyed biography
of the bands career).
Review by Alan Burridge: "The booklet has exactly the same text as in the 'Motorhead Videobiography' DVD, and
the CD soundtrack has been lifted, literally, by cheek and jowell, from the 'Inside Motorhead' DVD soundtrack,
so this isn't even worth the One Star, it's worth none whatsoever.
What ever happened to imagination?
The only (slightly) saving grace are Fin Costello's, previously unpublished, (by-and-large), photos.
This is an outright rip-off and a poke-in-the eye to those who bought the above releases.
Purchase should be with these thoughts in mind".
