In Germany the Overkill album was re-issued sometime during the 1980´s
(cat no "200.435", price code "-270"). Stamped into the run off grooves on side 1 is “A 2/12 -87” which might
be the date of
the release. Against this speaks the fact that it has not “Legacy Records” printed anywhere. It features
almost exactly the same Bronze label as the original 200 435 320 release but has extra wording around the
label in English. The cat no with price code "-270" is printed on the back in the top right corner and LC number
is in the lower right corner.
It should also be mentioned that there are copies with different matrix numbers. Petteri Rantala sent me infomration
about a copy that had "200435 A-1/79 S" as matrix number on side 1. You can also find slightly different versions of
the labels. There are versions with and without space between the upper and the lower wording around the label. If those
variations correlates with the different matrix number I don´t know.
