The black and white sleeve features a photo of Lemmy, Eddie and Phil
, taken by Motorcycle Irene. They are standing behind a fence, a motif Motorhead had used already in
photo sessions with the first line-up. The Motorhead logo is the old version that is also used on the
French and Swedish Leaving Here/White Line Fever single and the Motorhead/City Kids single.
The back sleeve showed another photo from the same photo session. Beneath the
credits you can read "NIL ILLEGITIMUM CARBORUNDUM". On the left of the back sleeve
the name of the company who printed the sleeve is printed, "DP delga press limited". The opening in the top
has a straight cutting. Later copies were released without picture sleeves.
There are two versions of the label, one with the text "Produced by Neil Richmond/Motorhead" on the right side
of the label and one without this text. The promo label is a label without this text which should mean that the
label with the text is a later version. The copies I have seen with this label with the "Produced by..."
have been without a picture
sleeve so it is possible that this difference correlates with the release of copies without picture sleeve
that were printed when the first run was sold out. I have also seen copies without picture sleeve with a
combination of the two, that is,
side one has the additional of "Produced by..." while the B-side has the label without this information.
