In Germany the AOS album was re-issued sometime during the 1980´s
(cat no 202 876 270, rear sleeve, top right corner, cassette number beseath 202 876 271). Stamped into the run off grooves on
side 1 is “A-3/12 89”
which might be the date of the release. Against this speaks the fact that it has not “Castle”,
who owned the rights in 1989 and therefore should be credited, printed
anywhere. On the other hand there are other German releases, for example
the Best of album, that were released
when Castle had the rights, but they were not credited on that record.
It features almost exactly the same Bronze
label as the original 202 876 320 release but has extra wording around the label in English. It also has both
GEMA and STEMRA on the label which indicates this was distributed not only in Germany but in Benelux as well. Which is logical since there
does not seem to exist a Dutch 270 version.
