In January 2004 Earmark released a vinyl box called “England”
(cat no 41023) that included the three albums Overkill (green vinyl), Bomber (blue vinyl) and Ace of Spades
(gold vinyl). The cover of the box featured the classic skull and was made in 1000 copies. On the front there is a
yellow sticker that says it is limited to 1000 copies. The three albums
had the same catalogue numbers as the gatefold versions although the sleeves were not gatefolded.
I have also seen copies with a black sticker as well as
copies with a white sticker instead of the yellow one with a
slightly different layout of the sticker (see picture). These are
re-issues of the box after the initial 1000 copies with yellow stickers. These re-issues emerged late in 2005 and
in the boxes with white sticker Ace Of Spades was printed on red vinyl instead of gold while in the boxes
with black sticker all the vinyls were pressed on black vinyl. So, well you need to buy em all, don´t you?
And in February 2008 I actually spotted yet another version. This had a bigger white round sticker with black
print and, If I remeber right, also some words (albumtitles?) in red. It had also a different back of the box
that showed the album covers as well as track listings. I think vinyl was in blue, green and red.
