Three weeks after the initial release in March 1979 a limited edition version of 15 000 copies was released on green vinyl. This is what Alan Burridge claims in an article in Record Collector (no 140) anyway. But in his Babylon Book he says it was only 10 000 copies. Green vinyl copies were also released in West Germany with a German catalogue number. I have two different information about that catalogue number, one says it is 300 93 (Kaempf) and another that it is 800 934 320 (seller on Ebay, feb 2004). The number is on a white sticker on the back sleeve in the top right corner. The green vinyl often cost at least GBP 20 on Ebay today (2003).

Mick Stevenson (2011) lists green vinyl copies as "factory sample" (probably copies with a factory sample sticker).
